Hi, my name is Lynne Hall. I started my little school some years ago. My staff and I are mainly interested in the preliminary teaching of horse riding. Not so much dressage levels or specialist procedures, just the basic skills. More recently I decided to create a more of a tutorial establishment. Education of horsemanship and horse understanding. I have been concerned in recent years that students do not develop communication skills with the horses. It is my opinion that this is most important. Many of the problems are avoided and the dangers of horse riding are reduced. Confidence and trust of your horse is paramount when jumping, performing dressage and endurance etc. Our establishment is one where we wish to teach the average person, (young or old) the basics of good horse management. We are not just interested in how well you can ride but also in your understanding of the horse, the well being of the horse and the care of the horse. As well as being taught how to ride a horse we will endeavour to teach you about, Grooming, Tacking up, Feeding, Stable Management and Understanding your horse We offerBasic tutorials for those starting and then more practical tutorials to ensure the correct control through all leg movements to give the rider stability which in turn gives confidence and competency. It is then up to the student to decide where to go, Dressage, Jumping, Show events or just having fun. |
